MORE WALKING. LESS BACKTRACKING.

Make it a one-way adventure

Get dropped off at the start, collected at the finish, or arrange both. These are separate planned taxi journeys, so there’s no driver waiting while you walk. Seaford is a gateway to the eastern Downs; the official South Downs Way does not run through the town.

YOUR DAY, YOUR WAY

Plan a transfer

Choose from popular South Downs locations below, or use Google to find any other address in the main booking form. Your plan will carry across, and we’ll agree the exact road-accessible meeting points with you.

Review your plan, then continue to the booking form to add your contact details. Review your plan, then add your contact details and choose WhatsApp or a telephone callback. We’ll personally confirm availability, your fare and the collection points.

A coast worth walking.
A pickup worth planning.

Our Seven Sisters map helps you choose an area. It’s an orientation guide, not a walking route or a confirmed taxi pickup point.

Country Park and Cuckmere Inn are separate meeting points either side of Exceat Bridge. There is no footbridge at the river mouth.

WE’VE WALKED IT TOO

More than a point
on a map

Chris has completed the South Downs Way. We understand the appeal of a one-way walk — and the relief of a lift at the end.

From rucksacks and luggage to patchy phone signal, a little planning helps. Save your pickup details before setting off and agree a meeting point a car can actually reach.

Let’s plan your day ↑
TRAVEL A LITTLE LIGHTER

You take the trail.
We can take the bags.

01

Arrange the handover

Tell us where the bags need to be collected and delivered, the dates and how many there are. Check that both places can hand over and receive your luggage.

02

Label every bag

We’ll check the details and make sure there is enough space before confirming. Large loads need a personal quote; bags are not left unattended unless agreed.

03

Confirm, then prepay

Luggage transfers are paid after we confirm the job and before collection. Handover photos are kept private.

BEFORE YOU LACE UP

A good plan goes
a long way

Can you collect from any trail location?

We need a safe, road-accessible meeting point. A trail pin, cliff viewpoint or beach is not necessarily accessible by taxi. We’ll agree the exact spot before confirming.

What if I finish earlier or later?

Contact us as soon as your plans change. A different time depends on availability; please don’t assume your driver is waiting throughout the walk.

Can I get a fixed fare?

Published routes use the current fare list, with positioning already included where stated. Other routes need a personal quote. Festive periods are quoted separately.

What about an early-morning walk?

Arrange and confirm it in advance. Requests are generally reviewed between 8am and 10pm, without a guaranteed response time. Overnight requests for travel before 10am need a phone call.

THE WALK IS YOURS. LET’S SORT THE RIDE.

See you on the Downs

Every transfer is checked and confirmed by a real person.
